Our mission is to foster the innate connection all children have with Mother Earth and their bodies in creative, fun and easeful ways; holding space to stay curious and mindful as we playfully practice nurturing self and community stewardship with full hearts and open minds through yoga and gardening.

In Bloom KYG Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that the city of Seattle, its parks and lands including all the places where we play, learn, work, live and celebrate on are on stolen Coast Salish land, specifically the ancestral land of the Duwamish, Suquamish, Stillaguamish, and Muckleshoot People. We recognize that Chief Seattle is the son of Duwamish and Suquamish people who are the first peoples and stewards of these lands since as far back as anyone can remember and is documented, time immemorial. Their way of being in this world was disrupted by colonization. Now that we have gown more aware and educated about this unjust history, we listen and learn from indigenous ways of being as we practice stewardship of the soil, water, air, plants, animals and all living creatures in our communities. Please learn with us through the “Honorable Harvest” guiding principals, from Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass.
